  1. Dear Math Major(s)

My indoor track at home is 1/7 of a mile around. I believe the straightaways are 100m but the turns are an awkward length.

    How far around is 400m?

  3. 1.75 laps per 400m on a 1/7th mile track

2 laps on a 1/8th mile, which is a much more common distance

  4. Yes, I have an indoor track at home. It circles my olympic swimming pool which is constantly re-stocked with hot naked chicks making out with each other, electric eels, and Michael Phelps alternatively...sometimes all at the same time.

This entertains me when I run.

Will, Target, Missy and the other Minnesotans are invited to come run and/or watch Michael Phelps try to swim the 400m butterfly in electric eel infested waters.

  6. how many burpees do you have to do for each 400? its negative 14 here in MT and i'd say there is enough snow to cover any track here.

  7. Yeah, there's lots of snow in Bend, OR, too. I'll attempt a run around a track, but I doubt my times will be anything that impressive.

  17. Took a note from Sean and did four sets of 70 burpees. It's 0 degrees here, 8 inches of snow covers the tracks, and there's no indoor track. So, I guess I'm out of luck with running until it de-ices/de-snows.
